Our Honorees

This year, we honor five individuals who have indelibly impacted the community.

The Rye Arts Center proudly honors the artistic community by introducing its Visionary Artist Award. The Award is given annually to an artist whose work has impacted the community, has been a notable source of inspiration to others, and is a catalyst for keeping the local art scene vibrant.

The Visionary Artist Award also amplifies individuals who exude an innovative spirit and personify the transformative power of the arts.  Whether through captivating visual art, multimedia installations, immersive experiences, or thought-provoking performances, recipients of the Visionary Artist Award inspire awe and ignite imagination. 

This award acknowledges past achievements and catalyzes future innovation, encouraging recipients to continue pushing boundaries and fearlessly pursuing their artistic visions. It celebrates the power of art to inspire, provoke, and ultimately transform the world.

Live Studio Artists

Exploding with creativity, we will feature live art including a pop-art demonstration by Lynn Mara, portraits by David Abrevaya, and a mixed-media butterfly creation by RAC instructors Ann Ladd and Gary Mack.
