September 9 (Monday): Orientation for AM Classes—9:30-10:15 am

September 10 (Tuesday): Orientation for PM Classes—1:30-2:15 pm

September 16: First day of classes!

October 3-4: Rosh Hashanah– RAC closed

October 14: Columbus Day—RAC Closed

November 1: Diwali– RAC closed

November 5: NO WALKING (CCNS)

November 11: Veteran’s Day—RAC Closed

November 27 - December-1: Thanksgiving Recess—No classes (closed Nov. 23-25)

December 21 - January 5: Winter Recess-No classes (RAC Closed Dec. 23-Jan.2)

January 6: Half Pints resumes

January 20: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day—RAC Closed

January 29: Lunar New Year- RAC Closed

February 17 - 22: Mid-Winter Recess—No Class

March 14: Superintendent's day NO WALKING

April 14-18 Spring Recess

May 26:RAC Closed

June 2-6: Last Week of Class, End of Celebrations!

(AM Celebration): 9:30 - 10:15 am No walking

(PM Celebration): 1:30 - 2:15 pm Walking

Please note, if The Rye City Schools are closed, there will be no class at The RAC.

In case of any unused snow days, classes will still be in session.

Inclement Weather

Morning Delay

When The RCSD is on a morning delay, the program will begin at 10:15am.

Early Afternoon Dismissal

When The RCSD is on an early afternoon dismissal, contact will be made directly with parents for pickup.
