The 48th Annual Ground Glass Photography Exhibition
Presented by The Rye Arts Center
Rye, NY - February 26, 2024 - The Ground Glass Annual Members Show returns with its 48th installment, showcasing the finest in contemporary photography. Juried by esteemed gallerist and fine art photography consultant, Debra Klomp Ching, the exhibition promises an array of dramatic landscapes, compelling portraits, dynamic street photography, and abstract work - all reflecting the varied experiences and styles of the members.
Debra Klomp Ching, co-owner of The KlompChing Gallery in Brooklyn, NY, brings her discerning eye, and a whopping 25 years of educator experience to the juror process:
“The 35 photographs selected represent a truly inspiring range of visions. In this grouping, you will witness humor, wonderful observations of everyday life, creative depictions of the overlooked, careful use of juxtapositions, a clear passion for tradition, and a very good use of scopic perception.”
The exhibition, scheduled from April 11th – April 30th, 2024, will kick off with an opening reception on Thursday, April 11th, from 7pm to 8:30pm at The Rye Arts Center Gallery, located at 51 Milton Rd, Rye, NY, 10580. This event, open to the public, offers a unique opportunity to engage with the artists and delve into the narratives behind their captivating imagery.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition during regular gallery hours, and additional information can be found on The Rye Arts Center website.
